Clemson University – Lyceum Scholars Program:
Open to incoming freshmen. Those interested in becoming Lyceum Scholars should apply in their senior year of high school to Clemson University and the Lyceum Scholars Program. All Lyceum Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship, which is disbursed over their four years at Clemson University. In exchange for this scholarship, students in the program take a sequence of eight courses with the other Lyceum Scholars in their entering class. Course topics range from ancient political thought to the political thought of the American founding to constitutional law.

COLLEGES & DUAL ENROLLMENT

Allegheny College
Allegheny is a private liberal arts college in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Every  student takes courses in humanities, natural sciences and social sciences — declaring both a major and a minor by the end of their sophomore year. While they do not offer dual enrollment classes, they do have an Early Admission program for highly qualified juniors in high school who apply to Allegheny a year early and meet certain criteria.

Arizona Christian University, ranked a best regional college in the West by U.S. News and World Report, provides a biblically-integrated liberal arts education equipping its graduates to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in all aspects of life.  ACU is committed to preparing  students to transform culture with the Truth of God’s Word. Homeschool students receive up to a $6000/yr scholarship stackable with other academic merit, and faith-based awards.  ACU also offers dual enrollment classes both on-line and in-person for deeply discounted rates.

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College
Blue Ridge CTC, located in Martinsburg, WV, offers quality academic programs that are learner-centered and focused on:  career entry, workforce development and university transfer.  Homeschool high school students can register for any college course – as long as prerequisites are met – at the current reduced tuition rate of $25/credit hour (no residency restrictions).  Students may choose traditional lecture, online or hybrid courses.  Register to schedule an appointment with a High School Enrollment Specialist to learn more about dual enrollment classes.

Bob Jones University 
BJU is an accredited, private, non-denominational evangelical university in Greenville, South Carolina. Personal visits and virtual visits are both available. Online dual enrollment courses are offered through BJU School for Continuing, Online and Professional Education (SCOPE).

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a private university focused on aviation and aerospace programs with its main campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona. Their Dual Enrollment program  has helped hundreds of homeschool students over the last few years to earn college credit while still in high school.

Grove City College
Grove City is a nationally top-ranked private Christian college located an hour from Pittsburgh. Currently, the school is offering both in-person and virtual visits. On-campus and online dual enrollment classes are offered to qualified juniors and seniors at a 70% discount.

Hagerstown Community College
Homeschooled high school students 16 years-old+ with a GPA of 2.5 can participate in HCC’s ESSENCE Program (dual enrollment). Students can choose traditional lecture, online or hybrid courses.  ESSENCE students receive a 25% tuition discount on their first 4 classes taken while still in high school. Other early-to-college programs are also available.

Harrisburg Area Community College
HACC has campuses in Harrisburg, Gettysburg, York, Lancaster and Lebanon. HACC also offers an online Dual Enrollment program.

Harrisburg University
HU, located in Harrisburg, PA, offers dual enrollment
 for high school students, scholarships for every accepted full-time undergraduate student, state of the art facilities, small class sizes, individual success coordinators, tutoring, peer programs, and research and internship opportunities.

Liberty University
LU is a private evangelical Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia, that offers over 600 degrees. Liberty is offering both on-campus visits and a variety of virtual experiences. Dual enrollment online courses are available through Liberty University Online Academy (LUOA).

Messiah University
Messiah is a nationally ranked, private Christian university located near Harrisburg, PA. Currently, the school offers a variety of virtual options (informational visits, tours, chats with a current student and more) as well as on campus visits. Dual enrollment classes are available as on-campus, hybrid and online (summer) courses.

Penn State
Penn State is a highly rated public college located in State College, PA, with campuses located through Pennsylvania. The Mont Alto campus is located locally in Franklin County. To enroll in the Mont Alto campus dual enrollment program, you must be a high school junior or senior with a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 and a combined SAT critical reading and math score of 1,000 to be considered for this program. PSAT scores may also be evaluated. Exceptions may be made for promising students who do not meet the above criteria.

Pennsylvania College of Technology
Penn College, located in Williamsport, PA, offers 100+ academic majors and minors with a hands-on academic approach. On-campus tours available as well as virtual opportunities, including weekly Online Admissions Information sessions.

Shippensburg University
Ship is a member of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. In person and virtual visits are both available. To see all options, check our their Visit page. SU also has Dual Admission agreements with Frederick Community College, Hagerstown Community College, Harrisburg Area Community College, among others.

University of Valley Forge
UVF is a private Christian university in Phoenixville, PA, with undergraduate, graduate, and lifelong learning programs. Visits are available in person or virtually. .UVF also offers an online Dual Enrollment program to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors at a price of $75 per credit.  In addition, students who complete 12 credits, or 4 DE courses, through the Dual Enrollment Program have the opportunity to earn a $2,000 scholarship if they choose to attend UVF.

York College of Pennsylvania
YCP is a private, coeducational, 4-year college, which offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and graduate programs. YCP is hosting on campus information sessions and  tours . Additionally, the college is hosting a Virtual Spring Open House on April 10 and an Understanding College webinar series.

OTHER COLLEGE CREDIT PROGRAMS

Unbound
Unbound is an online project-based education company that runs two leadership and professional development programs: Ascend and Navigate. Ascend is an alternative to traditional college and prepares students for real life. By taking courses, participating in live student events, completing resume-worthy projects, and receiving coaching and mentoring, students can earn up to 90 college credits. Navigate is a 12-week decision-making course for high school and college students.
